Brownies have been discovering Herne Bay’s past, as part of their Local history Interest badge, including the Dambusters bouncing bomb tested in the sea by Reculver, fossils, and the Hampton-on-Sea village, a former oyster fishery and seaside village, lost to costal erosion.
